The large mechanical unit moved through the rough terrain as it bombarded its path with hot energy bolts. The shots destroyed the rock formations and scattered them everywhere as rubble. The combat unit stool as a colossus compared to most of the landscape, a large cannon stood. The cannon had a deck and safety rails, in front of it stood a man who wore a grey uniform and a red cape.
"This nuisance keeps plaguing my experiments." Gerro stood as the giant cannon fired, its main cannon turned anything in front into ashes.
"Keep pressure on those vines, they cant keep up with us. For now."
This battle had been replayed many times in countless worlds.
The plant like creatures ware some of life form cross between a plant and a animal. Gerro had seen how they could devour any organic matter, planets would loose all their biomass within a short time line. Normally that would be the end of the problem but the creatures ware capable of traveling in the vacuum of space for endless aeons until they reached a planet with life.The newly discovered life forms had interesting abilities, they evolved in such a way that they could control one of the most mysterious forces in the universe, Gravity.
Although Gerro wanted to study the creatures further, they could not be handled by any form of organic hands. When touched the plant creatures ware extremely acidic, that's how they absorbed organic matter by dissolving it and consuming it. This was a problem sense the creatures left nothing behind and that made Gerro's most important research impossible.
Gerro was gathering samples of all living things in every galaxy and even universe he could find.
Nothing was going to get in hes way.
